Hafla On The Side is in its 12th season since 2004, produced by Jrisi Jusakos
and the Hathor Dance Studio. Its aim is to showcase Oriental Dance, fusion
and experimental works in a theatrical context, giving both artists and
audiences a rare chance to see Oriental Dance in its entirety.
It is also one of the few shows in Sydney featuring live music by leading Arabic
musicians. The newly formed El Anwar, have performed in the Hafla series
numerous times and also strongly feature in Jrisi's Instructional and
Performance DVD.
