Morocco and the Casbah Experience (New York. U.S.A)
A fountain of knowledge. Morocco is considered to be at the forefront of Middle Eastern Dance tuition and research. A highly informative page, Jrisi had the pleasure of attending some of Morocco's seminars and watching her studio performance in 2003 and 2004 in New York.
Yousry Sharif - Egyptian Dance Academy (New York. U.S.A)
One of the world's leading Egyptian Master teachers. Jrisi has had the pleasure of gaining intensive training from Mr Sharif in 2002. 2003 and 2004 both in Egypt and New York. Together with his wife have both produce top quality training videos which are a must for every dancer.
Ahlan Wa Sahlan Festival (Egypt)
My favourite festival in Cairo held in late June to July. The best teachers money has to offer. Full of glitz and glamour. I have been going since 2002.
Nile Group Festival (Egypt)
A fantastic festival held several times a year at the Movenpick Giza. Workshops are small so every students gains quality technique from master teachers. I attended in 2006 and highly recommend it.
