Each lesson focuses on students “wish list” which Jrisi uses as a base

for each class.

Students wish list can include:

Class ends with Choreography

Enrollments are taken on a week to week basis.

URGENT APPEAL

ANIMAL LOVERS

Some of you have already heard of ESMA, Egyptian Society for the Mercy of Animals.

A charity group I wrote about some months back.

A self funded animal shelter based in Sakkara, Egypt. They do fabulous work and take in animals who are sick, abandoned and who have suffered torture.

Myself, Peta Jones from Silk Bazaar and Caroline of Cairo have voiced our strong belief in this course and have joined forces to raise funds and much needed donations to the shelter.

Caroline will be acting as Australian ambassador based in Cairo who will be physically taking the donations to the shelter and also accompany dancers who are touring Egypt to volunteer at ESMA.

We are asking students, teachers, friends and family to donate any light weight goods that dancers traveling to Egypt may take. This can include:

New or used pet collars

Flea/Worming treatments

Medications

Eye and Skin Ointments

Grooming equipment

Leashes

OR

If you do not have any goods to donate,

cash goes a long way.

$5 would be a wonderful start.

Peta Jones along with her husband Phil will be traveling to Egypt in a few weeks time as part of Terezka’s Egypt Tour.

Peta will physically take the goods directly to the shelter and with cash donations will be used to purchase heavier items such as:

Milk formula

Dry & wet food

Blankets

Bedding

Litter

$5 donations go along way and if we can raise $200AUD this time around that would be a wonderful start and many goods can be purchased for this needy shelter.

Peta and Phil will also be documenting their trip to Sakkara and will be interviewing Mona Khalil (the shelter’s founder).

Much more than a basic 1,2,3 turn! In this workshop dancer will be taught a wide smogasboard of turns from Ballet turns and Pirouettes to Contemporary turns, Flamenco Turns and so much more. You will never do the same turn again. Short easy to remember combinations with traveling technique will be taught so you can take them home and use them in your own repertoire.
