Open for all Hathor Dance Studio dancers

Do you want to perform? Would you like to be part of  Sydney's growing bellydance scene. There are plenty of performance opportunities throughout the year which students can participate.

You can be part of one or two ensembles:

The Hathor Dance Ensemble I

The Hathor Dance Ensemble II

Jrisi and her students regularly are invited to perform at some of Sydney's premier Bellydance shows such as Sydney Middle Eastern Dance Festival, The Bellydancers Ball, Hafla on the Side plus lots of community festivals and functions.

If you like to learn new and creative choreographies, have time for weekly rehearsals, would like to be part of a fun lively group of women and can supply your own costume then this is for you.

We are always looking for new people to join our growing group.

If you come to weekly classes then you are eligible to participate in either of the ensembles.

Starring Farrah - The Egyptian Dance Artists

The festival starts mid morning and goes until late afternoon with a wide range of stalls (including Amera's Palace), food and live music. Entrance to the Park is free - a great day out for the family. Farrah will be performing 2 sets, the first from 12:30pm (~20mins) and the second from 1:30pm for approx 50mins. The Farrah troupe will be performing a wide range of Egyptian folkloric styles including Eskanderani, Haggala, Ghawazee, Fallahin and Nubian. There will also be solos by Paivi, Jennifer,

Rachel and Johara.

World Fusion Music Festival

Friday November 30th, 2007

The first world music festival in Sydney City, featuring Davood A Tabrizi and the Far Seas, Greek band with Nikos Drimiousis, Latin/Salsa band Sando, singers Layla, Ashura, Nazanin, plus Flamenco guitarist Robbie Vargas. Dancers Jrisi Jusakos and Annalouise Paul will be showcasing Oriental/Flamenco Fusion.

Hathor Dance Theatre alongside Kellie will be performing a

Oriental/Tribal Fire Medley.

Davood is one of Australia's leading world fusion artist. An award winning film composer he has worked alongside Australian Symphony, Hossam Ramzy and support act for Natacha Atlas. His recent collaboration with dancers such as Jrisi and Annalouise are at Aroma Coffee Festival, Spanish Quarter Festival, Western Sydney Dance Action and Riverside Theatre.
