"Dancing definitely helped me. Not just physically, but in all other areas also - antenatal, and postnatal. It's still helping now. Women should KEEP DANCING, not only for the physical benefits, but for how it can give them time out to be themselves, not be all-consumed in the hungry vortex of motherhood, that honestly can leave one feeling rather drained at the end of the day. Juggling a toddler and new baby has been particularly challenging and I'm sooo looking forward to getting back to classes asap! For time out! and for the physical, mental and social benefits" Vicki - Perth

DAY TIME AND EVENING PRIVATE CLASSES IN NORTHMEAD
Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday during the day.
If our times do not suit your schedule why not consider a private class. This is available for students of all levels, you do not have to be of a particular level to have a private class, in fact one private lesson is equivalent to 5 individual group lessons!!!
A private class consists of just the student and teacher, a one on one intensive lesson where the student dictates the class. Prior to booking you will have an online consultation with your instructor where you can pick and choose techniques and styles you would like to study so at the end of your session you achieve your exact goal.
You can also share your private lesson with other people of the same level as you, together we can structure a class to suit your needs whether that be technique, original choreography, teaching techniques etc.
Some options are:
Bellydance - Technique, choreography, turns/spins, footwork and travel work, fusion work, mastering props such as veil, finger cymbals, sword, saidi cane, isis wings, shamadan and folkloric Egyptian styles.

What students say:
"I haven't had the opportunity to tell you this in person but I just wanted to thank you so much. I have felt so much more connected with Bellydance since working with you and the Hathor Dance girls. I feel that my technique has improved tenfold and my appreciation and understanding for the music is so much more clearer (although I know I still have tonnes to learn). I just wanted to thank you as I have really appreciated your professionalism and guidance on my journey to living the life of a bellydancer" - Intermediate 3/Advanced Student
" I’ve only had the pleasure of being taught by 3 or 4 teachers in the three years I’ve been learning… but without question you are the best.
And I don’t say that lightly, or simply to flatter you.
You are obviously not only an accomplished dancer but have a wonderful way of getting your message across. I was particularly impressed that, even with a fairly large group and with a lot to get through, you were still able to zoom in on some of the subtle things that individuals were doing wrong and then found very clear ways to correct them, whilst at the same time, not belittling them – I know this is a very difficult line to walk and you do it beautifully." Beyond Beginner/Intermediate Student
" I really enjoyed the workshops ! You are a little dynamo and amazingly fit and gorgeous !!
I have a lot to learn but my hearts in the right place and with wonderful teachers like you about its very encouraging to go along to a workshop and feel very comfortable even amongst the variety of different levels of dancers.
So thanks again for an amazing day!" Workshop student
" Just want to say what a big enjoyment my daughter, Amanda and I got attending your workshop last Saturday.
You are an amazing dancer and a wonderful teacher. We can't beleive that you could do what you did at 6months pregnant and still look so great. Amanda said, 'she still looked great when she shimmied'. I loved both routines and the music choice was fantastic. I will be practising the steps as you suggest. while fresh
in the head. Thank you again,Jrisi, for giving us the oppurtunity to learn from you, we loved it and hope to see you soon." - Workshop Student
