Our mission is not simply to perform, but to honour and celebrate Iranian culture through respectful, authentic and beautifully presented dance.
For over 15 years, the Hathor Iranian Dance Ensemble has been celebrating the beauty, diversity and rich traditions of Iranian dance through vibrant, authentic and engaging performances.
Founded and directed by Jrisi Jusakos, the ensemble is made up of dedicated dancers who train regularly in a variety of Iranian dance styles, complemented by ongoing cultural education in Persian music, history and dance traditions with respected source artists.
The ensemble is a sought-after addition to Nowruz, Yalda, weddings, cultural festivals and community celebrations, and has proudly performed throughout Sydney's Iranian community, including sharing the stage with legendary Persian pop icon Aref at the State Theatre.
Whether presenting an elegant classical performance or an energetic regional dance, every performance is thoughtfully choreographed with cultural respect, authenticity and audience engagement at its heart.
From an intimate solo performance to a full professional dance ensemble, performances can be customised to suit your event, venue and musical preferences. We are happy to tailor a program featuring specific regional dances or create a bespoke performance that reflects your celebration.
Whether you are hosting a wedding, cultural festival, corporate event or community celebration, the Hathor Iranian Dance Ensemble brings colour, elegance and the spirit of Persian culture to every performance.
